Server/Barista

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
• Take customer orders accurately using Toast POS system ensuring smooth transactions.
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally.
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions and register balancing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling stations and seating areas.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry background is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Toast POS system.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently.
• Proven ability in sales, upselling beverages or food items to enhance guest experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing.
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
