Server/Waiter

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with professionalism and flair.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage offerings.
• Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely food preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for processing payments.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not mandatory.
