Service Advisor

Due to continued growth within FJS Plant, we have another Exciting Opportunity available. We are now recruiting for an experienced and professional Service Advisor to join our team in Naas.

This is a very hands-on role within a growing team. Role includes overseeing all the service telephone and walk- in enquiries on behalf of FJS. Manage communication between the workshop, the rest of the dealership and the customer. Delivering exceptional customer service at all times.

FJS Ltd is Irelands First Full Line Kubota Dealer for construction, Ag and Groundcare machinery. The main dealer for LiuGong Excavators & Loaders. We also specialise in Furukawa FRD Rock breakers, EvoQuip a Terex Brand of Demolition and Crushing Equipment and Merlo Telehandlers.

Key Responsibilities

· Act as the first point of contact for customers requiring servicing and repairs on their machines.

· Schedule service appointments and manage workshop bookings efficiently.

· Managing PDI records of all machines

· Communicate with customers regarding service needs, repair updates, and estimated costs.

· Liaise with technicians to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of services.

· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dealership services, promotions, and warranties.

· Adhere to all health, safety, and dealership compliance policies.

· Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.

· Proficiency in using dealership management software and Microsoft Office applications.

· Booking customers’ machines in for service and repair

· Distributing work to the technicians

· Advising on additional work recommended, or required, and securing authorisation

· Communicating with customers on progress of work and expected costs

· Invoicing of jobs

Requirements

· Previous experience in a service advisor role within the industry is preferred but not necessary.

· Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

· Customer focused, courteous and a good listener

· Somewhat experienced in a customer facing role

· Competent in IT skills

· Reasonably technically aware

· Exceptional in administrative and organisational skills

· Flexible and able to work well under pressure

· Keen to learn, and undergo brand training

· A holder of a full clean EU drivers licence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From €35,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Osberstown, Naas, CO. Kildare: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

  • Service : 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • B Driving Licence (preferred)
