Service Advisor

Our Sales Department excels in providing innovative and cost-effective vehicles, while our Service and Parts Departments focus on minimizing downtime and giving our customers the tools they need to succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and clearly document customer vehicle concerns on a service input card and verify customer information.
• Establish customer payment methods and obtain credit approval when necessary.
• Create repair orders in the system.
• Notify the foreman of incoming work and repair order status.
• Ensure vehicles are parked in designated areas, locked securely, and that all keys are marked and stored properly.
• Communicate customer updates to the foreman.
• Monitor repair progress throughout the day, inform customers of changes to estimates or timelines, explain costs and time requirements in detail, and obtain proper authorization before performing additional repairs.
• Manage phone inquiries regarding inbound work and ongoing repairs.
• Review repair orders to confirm completion of work, note additional work and authorization, and close repair orders.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of Service Advisor experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in heavy-duty trucking is a plus.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with hardware and software systems.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record that meets company guidelines.
• CDK experience is a plus.
