Service Advisor

We are seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor who is fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese to support our growing Chinese-speaking customer base.

The Automotive Service Advisor at Hogan Chevrolet Buick GMC Limited is a Customer Service role responsible for providing excellent customer service, advice, and sales assistance to customers who have questions or concerns with their repair or service needs for their vehicles. This position reports directly to the Service Manager, and will be integral in supporting the sales team and establishing customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation for this role is $52,,000 to $90,000 & higher based on experience per year, paid biweekly. This is a full-time, individual contributor role. Benefits include, medical & dental.

Responsibilities

• Responding to customer inquiries regarding repair, parts, and service offerings for their vehicle in a timely manner
• Assisting customers with booking and checking appointments
• Inspecting customer vehicles and making recommendations for needed service, repairs, and upgrades
• Working with the service manager to devise an effective vehicle maintenance schedule for the customer
• Explaining repair and parts processes and estimated costs to customers
• Processing payment transactions
• Maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions
• Keeping the service area clean and organized

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous automotive service experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot customer issues
• Knowledge of automotive repair and parts
• Ability to handle multiple customer inquiries at once
• Knowledge of business software and CRM systems
