Independent Automotive Repair Shop – Located in Irvine, CA

Established automotive repair facility in Irvine seeking a Service Advisor to join our team.

Our shop focuses on providing honest recommendations, high-quality repairs, and long-term relationships with our customers. We are looking for someone who is professional, organized, and enjoys helping customers understand their vehicle needs.

This position is ideal for someone who values customer service, clear communication, and a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with vehicle check-in
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and document repair requests
• Communicate technician findings and repair recommendations clearly
• Prepare estimates and obtain customer authorization for repairs
• Keep customers informed about repair progress and timelines
• Coordinate workflow between customers and technicians
• Manage appointments and maintain accurate service records
• Provide a professional and welcoming experience for every customer

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or Automotive Service Writer preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic understanding of automotive repair and maintenance services
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Experience using shop management software is a plus
