Service Department Cleaning Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing parts for ice cream machines, adhering to HACCP guidelines, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

· Clean and sanitize parts for various machines according to outlined guidelines.

· Report directly to the Quality & Compliance Manager.

· Operate to a high standard under all established SOP & procedures

· Liaise with service technicians daily to identify their requirements and arrange clean replacement parts.

· Log cleaning jobs on the system accurately and timely.

· Replace parts with new ones when necessary, using correct logging system in place.

· Follow all SOP’s as outlined by the QA manager for use of the hospital grade clean machine.

· Utilise and maintain all equipment in the QA clean area whilst completing daily cleaning records.

Requirements

· Experience in a similar role within a food industry/Kitchen Porter /cleaning role setting is preferred.

· Knowledge of HACCP guidelines and procedures.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· Good communication skills to liaise effectively with service technicians and other team members.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Proficiency in logging and tracking work using a computer system.

· Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects when necessary

Reporting Line

This position reports directly to the Quality & Compliance Manager.

Working Conditions

· Full-time position

· May require earlier or later start & finish times to meet maintenance schedules between the hours of 7am & 8pm, Generally Mon - Friday .

· Work is performed within a food environment with strict hygiene and safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €14.15 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
