Shipper Receiver

Join our team as our newest Shipper Receiver on DAY shift.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Verify that the correct quantity of raw materials or purchased parts or services is received at the specified time from a specified supplier and that any test reports are filed in an orderly manner.
• Ensure that parts are properly identified and stored in designated areas.
• Ensure that all parts leaving the plant for outside services are properly identified.
• Communicate quality problems to production, quality, and other management as required through the use of verbal and written communications.
• Verify inventory counts on the production floor. Help to identify potential shortages of raw material, work in progress, and finished goods.
• Create bills of lading and warehouse transfer requests.

What are we looking for?

• 3 -5 years of forklift experience, Position requires operation of forklift and other material handling equipment (dock plates) as well as manual lifting.
• Some physical effort is to be expected.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and IVP is an asset
• Accurate math and communication skills - both written and verbal
• Creation of shipping paperwork and processing of receiving paperwork will be required.
