Shipping/Receiving Clerk

About the role

Engage2Excel Group is actively looking for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk. This is a manual handling, labor-intensive job. You will perform the necessary tasks to ship customer orders via the required shipping company. Receive items shipped from vendors; open, inspect and confirm items received in the inventory system.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Scan packing slip, then verify information is accurate.
• Complete packaging, seal shipping box and apply shipping label.
• Place shipping boxes in the shipping trailer.
• Travel between facilities for daily mail delivery.
• Unload delivery trucks; verifies counts, inspects and receives items into inventory system.
• Organize the location and placement of items stored in the warehouse.

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Be able to lift to 50lbs
• Be certified to operate a Forklift
• Be able to stand and/or walk 8 + hours a day
• Be able to operate forklift and pallet jack for certain types of warehouse tasks
• Have experience using a computer to complete basic functions, knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, and the ability and willingness to learn other programs / platforms as required
