Shop Manager/Foreman

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to work effectively in a construction site environment. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints to ensure high-quality assembly and fabrication of metal components.

Duties

• Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including stick welding and soldering.
• Assemble metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
• Operate machinery such as press brake machines and other fabrication tools.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
• Collaborate with team members on construction site projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations at all times.

Skills

• Proficient in welding techniques, including stick welding and soldering.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various fabrication machinery.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Experience in blueprint reading for accurate assembly of components.
• Familiarity with machining processes is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a construction site environment while maintaining high safety standards.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
