Formulation of procurement strategy, preparation of tender documentations in particularly contractual provisions, administration of tender process, evaluation of tender submissions and preparation of tender recommendation report.

To work closely with the project teams and provide contractual advice, draft of contractual correspondences, review variation claims, extension of time claims and loss & expense claims, prepare and maintain project contractual risk register.

Support negotiations of claims, manage contractual changes and resolve disputes or conflict resolution with contractors.

Continuous monitoring and reviews of the legal developments in the construction industry and provides regular updates to the project teams.

Recognised Degree in Legal and/or Quantity Surveying with good understanding of the construction process.

Preferably possess at least 5-year experience in a QS consulting environment, preferably with experience in infrastructure, container port, marine terminals or coastal development projects.

Must be well versed with the Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract and various types of Contract Conditions.

Has good writing and communication skills and strong negotiation and mediation skills.

Must have excellent analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities.

Possesses superior attention to detail in order to spot inconsistencies in contracts.

Resourceful and able to work independently and is a good team player as well.

Possess excellent people skills with the ability to integrate within a multi-disciplinary team.

Willing to travel overseas as and when required for handling of overseas projects.
