Skid Steer & Class 3 Dump Truck Operator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Skid Steer Operator with a strong background in grading to join our team for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their finish work and isn't afraid to jump into a dump truck when the project calls for it.

If you have a sharp eye for elevations, experience handling heavy equipment in tight spaces, and a valid Class 3 license, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Skid Steer Operation: Execute precise grading, leveling, and backfilling for residential or commercial projects.
• Hauling & Transport: Operate a Class 3 Dump Truck to transport aggregates, dirt, or equipment to and from job sites.
• Site Prep: Read and interpret basic site plans or follow verbal grade stakes to ensure proper drainage and surface prep.
• Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip inspections and basic greasing/maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and longevity.
• Teamwork: Assist with ground work or other tasks when equipment is not in active use.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating a skid steer, specifically for finish grading.
• Licensing: Must possess a valid Class 3 Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
• Technical Skill: Proficient in using various attachments (buckets, blades, etc.) and comfortable maneuvering in active construction zones.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, and capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Local Knowledge: Familiarity with East St. Paul and the greater Winnipeg area is an asset.
