Skilled Construction General Operatives – Full-Time Position
Location: South East of Ireland

Encon are currently recruiting for a Skilled Construction General Operatives to join our growing team.

General Operatives – Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily tasks as directed by the Site Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with building standards, regulations, and Encon’s quality requirements.
- Follow all Health & Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Use materials, tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
- Support building and retrofit projects across the South East region.
Requirements:
- Experience in construction, retrofitting, or general labouring preferred.
- Own tools and transport desirable.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple project types.
- Must have English.
- Full clean driving licence an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
This full-time role is based across multiple projects across the Region.
- Fit out, slabbing, doors, and windows.
- Install flooring and complete second-fix carpentry.
- Assist with site installations and finishing works.
- Carry out refurbishment work.
- Perform general operative duties where required.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
- Support general maintenance, cleaning, and operational tasks.
- Flexibility to work across different locations as needed.
Requirements:
- Strong construction skills essential.
- Experience with carpentry, waste water plumbing, painting is a distinct advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have English.
- Full clean driving licence required.

Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Full-time, on-site role.

Pay: €18.50-€22.00 per hour
