Aureo La Union is a first-class luxury resort owned by Ferenzo Holdings and Development Corporation, located in San Fernando, La Union, Philippines. Ferenzo Holdings is a developer that owns the Aureo Resort and is expanding it with an 8-story hotel and convention center to support the local tourism industry.

Job Summary: Social Media Manager/Marketing Strategist is responsible for developing and executing engaging digital content and social media strategies that strengthen brand presence, drive audience engagement, and increase bookings. This role also supports the planning and execution of on-ground events and activations, ensuring strong digital coverage and brand consistency across all platforms.

Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy & Management

  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with brand goals and marketing objectives.
  • Manage and optimize all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
  • Monitor trends, audience behavior, and competitor activities to identify content opportunities.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics (engagement rate, reach, impressions, conversions).
  • Provide data-driven insights to improve content effectiveness and ROI.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all digital platforms.

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Plan, create, and publish high-quality content (photos, videos, reels, captions, and stories).
  • Capture on-site content showcasing resort amenities, guest experiences, events, and promotions.
  • Conceptualize creative campaigns that highlight the resort’s luxury positioning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, F&B) for content ideas and coverage.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, formats, and best practices.

Campaign, Community & Event Execution

  • Execute social media campaigns to support room bookings, events, and promotions.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure timely posting schedules.
  • Engage with online communities by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and on-site execution of marketing events, resort activations, and corporate functions.
  • Provide real-time content coverage during events (live posts, stories, reels, etc.).
  • Coordinate with suppliers, partners, and internal teams for event requirements.
  • Conduct post-event content and performance evaluation with insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Arts, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a related role.
  • Experience in event execution and coordination is an advantage.
  • Strong skills in photography, videography, and editing (mobile and/or professional tools).
  • Creative mindset with a strong eye for visual storytelling and branding.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and platform insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to be relocated in San Fernando, La Union.
