As a Social Media Marketer, you will take ownership of and execute our company’s social media strategy by creating high-quality video and static content in collaboration with the design team, while driving engagement and aligning with overall business goals.
Key Outcomes:
1. Develop and execute a monthly social media content calendar aligned with our marketing funnel and content pillars.
2. Create engaging video content (e.g., reels) and static posts that resonate with our audience, driving measurable increases in engagement metrics such as comments, shares, and follower growth.
3. Analyze social media performance metrics, providing actionable insights and iterating strategies to optimize reach, engagement, and conversions.
4. Stay up-to-date with trends, tools, and audience behaviors to ensure our social media strategy remains innovative and effective.
5. Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all channels.
6. Utilise the latest AI tools to streamline and increase content production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with marketing objectives and audience needs.
- Plan and manage a monthly social media content calendar, ensuring timely execution. Create and edit video content (e.g., reels) using apps like Submagic, Capcut, InShot, Splice, FilmoraGo, and Canva.
- Work with the design team to create cohesive and engaging static posts.
- Analyze social media performance data, identifying trends, insights, and optimization opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends and news, integrating relevant topics into our content.
- Write engaging, audience-focused copy and captions for posts, leveraging psychology and sales knowledge.
- Engage with the audience by responding to comments and fostering a sense of community on all platforms.
- Timely execution of the monthly content calendar without delays.
- Consistent delivery of high-quality, creative content that aligns with brand guidelines.
- Proactive trend-spotting and incorporation of new tools or practices to enhance performance.
Key Requirements:
- Background in marketing, sales, or psychology.
- Experience managing social media accounts for brands with a focus on video content. At least 3 years of experience in social media marketing.
- Proven track record of creating high-performing video content for social platforms.
- Expertise in social media strategy development and implementation.
- Proficiency in video editing apps (e.g., Submagic, Capcut, InShot, Splice, FilmoraGo). Basic knowledge of static post editing tools (e.g., Canva).Strong understanding of data and metrics analysis tools.Other Traits:
- Highly creative and detail-oriented with a strong eye for design and aesthetics.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media.
- Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to connect with the target audience effectively.
- Data-driven and analytical thinker.
- Enthusiastic about trends and innovations in social media.
