Software Developer - Co-Op

Job Description

Job Purpose:

You will be a crucial software development team member with contributions to the specification, design, and development of enhancements to the Dynamics NAV and/or Business Central business system. You will develop computer programs that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our organization with an emphasis on R&D projects that include but are not limited to the internet of things and machine learning. There will also be on-going documentation about our software development and working with Net-ops to support our development.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability:

• Technical analyses and recommendations based on proposed software implementations
• Efficient and effective design and implementation of software fixes and changes throughout various software platforms following each systems’ programming best practices. These systems include:
• Microsoft Dynamics NAV
• Microsoft Dynamics CRM
• Microsoft SQL Server/Transact SQL Environment
• Microsoft ASP.NET platform
• Azure Devops
• Development within or of applications that integrate different systems together
• Working directly with end-users to better understand specific problems/bugs
• Developing innovative ideas, concepts, and innovative applications for modern technology, and effectively presenting those ideas
• As required, helping in general IT issue troubleshooting or implementations across the various business systems & network platforms
• Assist in the development of application documentation both technical and non-technical
• Other duties as required.
