We are currently seeking a Solar PV Electrician to join our growing team. Responsibilities:

• Install and wire a variety of Solar PV and battery storage systems across homes, agricultural, hotels and commercial buildings
• Install and wire a range of EV chargers to the highest safety and performance standards
• Conduct full system testing and commissioning of electrical components to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation
• Inspect and assess electrical systems for damage, faults, and safety hazards, taking corrective action where necessary
• Complete commissioning sheets and documentation for a range of electrical systems
• Adhere to SEAI Domestic Solar Photovoltaic Code of Practice and Safe Electric/RECI regulations
• Provide photographs and system sign offs to support administrative processing of grant applications
• Deliver clear, professional advice and assessments to clients on site
• Ensure all assigned tasks from the Project Manager are completed accurately and on time
• Work independently, taking initiative to complete installations efficiently and to a high standard
• Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• Show a passion for the renewable energy industry and a willingness to continuously learn and develop

Requirements:

• National Craft Certificate in Electrical
• Minimum 5 years of electrical experience, including at least 2 years working with Solar PV systems
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
• Full driver’s licence
• QC number
• Health & Safety focused with a proactive attitude
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to various project sites as required within the South East Region
