Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Paraeducator (FT Para) to join our team in El Cerrito, CA. As a Paraeducator, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs, working closely with teachers and specialists to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students with diverse learning needs.
Support students with daily activities, including academic tasks, social interaction, and personal care, as needed.
Monitor and document student progress and behavior.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Experience working with children, preferably in a special education setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs.
Ability to adapt to various classroom environments and student needs.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
