Job Summary

The Special Project Lead / Wetcast is responsible for assisting in making all items that are manufactured or assembled at the facility. This would include any necessary secondary operations such as painting, prepping or patching product. Some other examples would include tying steel rebar mats, pouring concrete, finishing concrete, general housekeeping and any and all necessary task to provide products for sale and maintain a clean and safe facility. The individual must also promote and abide by all company safety procedures and company guidelines. This individual reports to Production managers and works in conjunction with others to harmoniously complete the production requirements of the entire plant, in a safe and efficient manner.

Job Responsibilities

• Must read blueprints and schematics
• Learn Oldcastle Infrastructure quality standards
• Must have a strong understanding of how to operate batch system
• Use of hand tools and how to use them safely
• Must be able operate overhead cranes
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Dexterity, to handle small screws and parts
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure
• Able to work a flexible starting schedule and/or overtime
• Prior manufacturing experience a plus
• Ability to lift a maximum of 75 lbs. on an intermittent basis
• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region

Compensation

• The hourly pay rate is $30-32/hr
