Specification Sales Officer

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • Driving engagement of national developers and architects with differentiated products and services through dedicated planning and execution.
  • Build trust of the assigned accounts by educating key decision makers on plasterboard performance on fire, acoustic, energy efficiency etc.
  • Ensure a smooth project delivery by endorsing specification details to respective project sales officer to ensure full and timely specification conversions to meet product requirement and delivery timeline.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

o Generate Specification

  • Qualify pipeline and create architectural/developer pipeline opportunity
  • Closing of specification works
  • Find leads which includes but not limited to CRM (SFDC) and other third party market pipeline leads

o Penetration

  • Able to create access on assigned/ handled accounts
  • Identify potential product – application opportunities on customers
  • Able understand bottlenecks and propose a solution to clients
  • Solution proposal needed by the customer
  • Gain, defend and grow the business through product & service differentiation

o Reporting

  • Able to document action plans and execution on company CRM (SFDC)
  • Account specifications progress of target opportunities

o Event Management

  • Conduct presentation, facilitate technical activities such as, site installation, mock up, events and technical trainings to customers

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in construction or building materials
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, or willingness to learn
