About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated therapist who will provide outstanding Speech Language Therapy care to adult inpatients and outpatients.
In this permanent part time position, working 20 hours per week, you will work within a close team who provide speech language therapy to adults and paediatrics, inpatients and outpatients in clinic and community settings.
About the Location
Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi is spread across a vast geographical area and centred across two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatāne. We serve a population of approximately 308,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki. Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi is one of the Bay of Plenty’s largest employers with over 4500 staff.
About you
Our preferred candidate will need:
- To have a sound knowledge of the use of informal and formal assessment tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work well within a team to achieve patient and whanau focused goals
- A focus on evidence-based practice
