Store Supervisor – Amalfi Pizza & Pasta (Sunbury)

Amalfi Pizza & Pasta is continuing to grow, with more and more people wanting to be part of the Amalfi experience. We are now seeking an experienced hospitality professional to step into the role of Store Supervisor, supporting the Restaurant Manager and ensuring smooth, efficient day-to-day operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesRestaurant Operations

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily store operations across front-of-house, pizza bar, and kitchen.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed, including cash handling, stock checks, and store presentation.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and equipment maintenance throughout the restaurant.
• Support the pizza bar and kitchen teams during busy periods, including basic food preparation and order accuracy checks.
• Ensure efficient operating procedures are followed at all times, contributing to smooth and consistent service flow.

Customer Experience

• Lead by example and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Resolve customer issues promptly, professionally, and with a positive attitude.
• Promote customer satisfaction through friendly interactions, speed of service, and product consistency.

Team Leadership

• Supervise, guide, and support team members during shifts, ensuring tasks are completed effectively.
• Train new team members on company policies, food handling standards, operating procedures, and customer service expectations.
• Provide ongoing coaching to help staff maintain high standards of performance and presentation.

Food Quality & Safety

• Monitor food preparation for quality, portion control, taste, and presentation—particularly pizza and pasta dishes.
• Ensure all kitchen staff follow hygiene and food-safety procedures in line with company policies.
• Conduct regular cleanliness and maintenance checks across all work areas.

Deliveries (Preferred)

• Complete pizza deliveries when required (use of own car preferred).
• Ensure orders are handled with care, delivered on time, and customer interaction remains friendly and professional.
• Receive additional per-delivery payment on top of hourly rate.

Stock, Inventory & Administration

• Monitor ingredient levels, packaging supplies, and consumables, reporting shortages to the Restaurant Manager.
• Assist with stock rotation, waste logs, and operational paperwork as needed.
• Support rostering, shift management, and other administrative tasks when required.

Communication & Coordination

• Communicate effectively with the Restaurant Manager regarding daily issues, team performance, and operational improvements.
• Coordinate with kitchen, front-of-house staff, and delivery drivers to maintain workflow during peak hours.

Who We Are Looking For

• Proven hospitality experience, ideally in fast-paced or high-volume pizza/pasta environments.
• Strong customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and organised during busy periods.
• High attention to detail, excellent presentation, and a positive team attitude.
• Able to work a flexible roster including late nights and weekends.
• Preferred: Own car + valid driver licence for deliveries when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.95 – $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
