Summer Camp Counselor

Must assist in delivering a quality summer camp experience to our students. Applicants must enjoy working with children (ages 5-11) and be drug free, very energetic, and patient in working with our students. We run a high energy summer camp that includes daily field trips, arts & crafts, games, martial arts classes, dodgeball, etc.

For applicants that want a MORNING shift (8:30am-1:30pm). We have flexibility in scheduling and can offer between 3 and 5 days of this shift, depending on the employee's needs.ONLY ELIGIBLE FOR THIS POSITION/SHIFT IF YOU CAN SAFELY DRIVE A 15 PASSENGER VAN to take some of the summer campers to field trips. We will not consider applicants unless they are able to drive a passenger van.

For applicants that want an afternoon shift (2:30-6pm with possibility of more hours), you would be helping coach and assist in fitness games, parkour and martial arts classes, arts & crafts, and general camper management. This shift is on-site, there is no driving required.

Candidates must be willing to lead children in games, monitor them on field trips, and help with light cleaning. We are looking for high energy, mature people that are familiar with coaching or working with children in similar settings.

We will require a full background check of qualified candidates.

Position available to start paid training in late May.

This is a fun, rewarding job but also demands that attention and focus be on the campers. If you have an outgoing personality, enjoy kids, but can also "hold the line" with them and enforce boundaries - this is the job for you! Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
