We serve Italian-inspired food (we ❤️ pizza), handcrafted cocktails, and genuine hospitality. We have an exciting opportunity for a Restaurant Manager – a natural leader who thrives under pressure, loves systems, and is passionate about creating unforgettable guest experiences. You’ll play a pivotal role in leading our front-of-house, driving engagement, performance, and growth across the team.

We serve Italian-inspired food (we ❤️ pizza), handcrafted cocktails, and genuine hospitality. We’re known for our community vibe, our “simple done well” approach, and a team culture that’s grounded in collaboration, kai-zen (continuous improvement), and having a damn good time doing what we do.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Restaurant Manager – a natural leader who thrives under pressure, loves systems, and is passionate about creating unforgettable guest experiences. You’ll play a pivotal role in leading our front-of-house, driving engagement, performance, and growth across the team. This us a full-time position, with a minimum of 30 and maximum of 40 hours per week.
As our Restaurant Manager, you’ll lead from the front to ensure SUNDAYS’ vision for memorable hospitality comes to life every day:
Lead and inspire the FOH team to deliver an exceptional guest experience
Manage daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
Deliver strong financial performance through best-practice rostering, wage and cost control
Manage bookings, functions, and events
Champion and implement systems to drive efficiency and accountability
Collaborate closely with the General Manager, Head Chef and Bar Manager to achieve financial and operational targets
Support training, onboarding, and performance development for all FOH team members
Your qualities & competencies:
Passionate about creating a positive, high-performing culture
Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the business
Commercially savvy, with experience managing wages and financial reporting
A passion for building community – with guests, team, and local suppliers
Obsessed with great systems and structure
Current Duty Manager’s Certificate
- Have at least 2 years of relevant work experience or a relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification
