Hours of work:
Full-time (min. 37.5 hours per week); ability to work flexible hours as required. Typical hours are 8:30 with end time varying from 4:30-6:30; Monday through Friday
Duties:
- Work one on one and in small groups with children with autism spectrum disorder and other learning needs using behaviour analytic procedures to teach skills and reduce challenging behaviours
- Assist with assessment and treatment planning under the supervision of a Registered Behaviour Analyst
- Prepare program materials
- Monitoring client progress including daily data collection and analysis under the supervision of a Registered Behaviour Analyst
- Daily communication with families and supervisors
- Maintaining client files including filing data, updating progress reports, printing and preparing data sheets
- Supervise student placements
- Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and professional development
- MUST have access to a vehicle with the ability to transport clients
Qualifications:
- A college diploma or university degree in a related field: Honours Bachelor of Behavioual Psychology, Autism and Behavioural Science Graduate Certificate, Behaviour Science Advanced Diploma, BA/BSc Psychology/Child Studies/Disability Studies
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities is considered an asset
- Clear criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening
- Current CPR and First Aid required
- Proficient use of Microsoft 365

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
