Supervisor & Tour Guide

Cork City Gaol are currently looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Supervisor.

The successful candidate will be part of a team showcasing the history and stories behind the heritage centre along with assisting in the day-to-day running of Cork City Gaol.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Customer Service
• Providing Guided Tours of the Gaol
• Staff Management
• Cash Management
• Stock Management
• Housekeeping
• Working as part of a team
• Problem solving
• Responsibility for opening and closing of the Gaol

Skills and experience:

• Excellent customer service and organisational skills
• Outstanding communication and people skills
• Fluent English speaker
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to different situations
• Effective problem solving
• Flexible approach to work
• Exceptional time management required

Flexibility is required regarding working times as Cork City Gaol is open 7 days a week and often hosts evening events. The successful candidate will be working on a managerial roster which will include weekends and public holidays.

Full time or part time hours available.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From €29,500.00 per year
