Job Summary:
Supports business operations and manages customer service within assigned sales territory/area. Involved in operations, methodologies, collection of information, and monitoring/tracking/reporting of assigned sales territory/area performance and service metrics. Completes customer related projects. Provides training to Sales Support staff. Responsible for implementation of ST systems, tools and databases. Responsible for the management of customer service and ensures the customer contacts are correctly followed with respect to order placement, cancellation/push out/new order lead-times, resolves pricing backlog conflicts etc. Works with Sales Leadership to follow focus on overall group objectives. The incumbent is responsible for all aspects of quality; in work, processes, products, and results. May perform other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
Management Responsibilities: Provides general supervision to assigned employees. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Acts as advisor to department, becomes actively involved as required to meet schedules or resolve problems.
General Responsibilities: Receives assignments in the form of objectives. Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees. Recommends changes to department policies. Identifies and analyses problems of moderate scope. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
Customer Relations: Maintains contacts and interfaces with internal and external customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years experience in a sales support related role with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
