Your Scope

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Local Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end logistics operations in the fresh frozen vegetables sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient transportation, replenishment, and delivery center operations while maintaining high service levels and budget accountability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong planning skills, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration particularly with Customer Service and Sales Teams to align logistics execution with customer and commercial priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Logistics Operations Management

Lead and manage all logistics activities for the local area, including transportation, replenishment, and delivery center (DC) operations.
Ensure optimal inventory levels and product availability at the DCs.
Monitor and improve operational KPIs, especially Service Level performance from the DC, aligned with customer expectations.

2. Planning & Coordination

Develop and manage a 12-week planning cycle for packed goods in close cooperation with the central bulk planning team and the central masterplanner.
Anticipate supply and demand fluctuations and adjust plans accordingly to maintain smooth product flow (peak, seasonality….)

3. Budget Ownership

Own the logistics budget for the local area, ensuring cost-efficiency across all logistics operations.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce cost and report regularly on budget performance.

4. Team Leadership

Lead, develop, and motivate the local supply chain and logistics team.
Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Your profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain/logistics management, ideally within frozen food or perishable goods sectors.
Proven experience managing a delivery center or regional logistics operations.
Strong analytical and planning skills with familiarity in forecasting and S&OP processes.
Experience working with ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Fluent in English and Dutch.
