System Administrator

Job Summary:

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installation and Configuration: Setting up and configuring computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
• Maintenance and Support: Regularly maintaining and supporting operating
• systems, hardware, software, and databases.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to computer systems and networks.
• Security: Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect IT infrastructure and data.
• Backup and Recovery: Implementing and managing backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and system availability.
• User Management: Managing user accounts, permissions, and access control.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Network Administration: Setting up and maintaining local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
• Software Updates: Performing software upgrades and patches.
• Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience in Windows systems administration tasks. Experience in Linux (RHEL, OEL, CentOS)
• Knowledge in automated process solutions - Ansible, BASH Scripting - Powershell Scripting - Batch Scripting
• Server Virtualization (VMWare, HyperV, Oracle VM)
• Basic understanding of the OSI Layers
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a team
• Must be amenable to work fully onsite at Makati or BGC

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php45,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
