System Administrator (Wfh)

The System Administrator’s purpose is to maintain the servers, computer systems, hardware & software, printers & scanners and other peripherals of the clients, ensuring that they run smoothly and providing technical support and advice to computer users by answering calls and/or emails.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performing support and troubleshooting to different Cloud Technologies (Microsoft Azure, Office 365, MS SharePoint etc.).
  • Performing support and troubleshooting to different security platforms, anti-virus and malware.
  • Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
  • Conduct basic to intermediate Server troubleshooting and setup.
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
  • Develop, maintain, and document installation and configuration procedures.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting and triage.
  • Maintain facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers (local and network printers).
  • Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, firewalls, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
  • Other related job that will be assigned by the supervisor/manager.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a College/Bachelor's Degree; Computer Engineering, IT, or any related course (Electronics Engineering or IT degree is a plus)
  • At least 2-3 years of solid work experience in related industry, IT or MSP
  • With excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Has the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical person.
  • Certification in Microsoft, Windows, Cisco, or Symantec is a big plus.
  • Experience and knowledge of basic Windows OS troubleshooting, and configuration is a must.
  • Experience and knowledge of basic Mac OS troubleshooting, and configuration is an advantage
  • Experience and knowledge with different security platforms, anti-virus, and malware (Symantec Endpoint Protection, Windows Defender, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge with the following technology is a huge advantage:
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Office 365
  • SharePoint
  • OneDrive
  • Teams
  • Amendable to work in nigh shift schedule, weekends and PH holidays.
  • Amenable to provide on-call support and render overtime during events that require backup support.
  • Open to travel to attend business conference, events and meetings.
