Our Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, we now have a newly created opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Advisor, with a primary focus on Blue Collar Recruitment, to work alongside our emerging leaders who are based in Sydney, NSW. This role will be accountable for driving best practice end-to-end recruitment for Blue-collar roles such as Concreters, Steel Fixers and Formworkers to support upcoming FIFO infrastructure projects on the East Coast of Australia.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Responsible for the coordination and management of the full cycle of recruitment including advertising, sourcing, screening CVs, phone screens, interviews, and pre-employment checks
- Work effectively and in collaboration with all Whittens’ Hiring Managers to provide end to end recruitment support
- Candidate management utilising the ATS (JobAdder) and other system platforms such as Monday for selection process to onboarding
- Undertake talent acquisition through a variety of methods including Advert sourcing, Social Media platforms, Networking and Employee Referrals
- Responsible for preparing and posting role advertisements on numerous platforms
- Act as a conduit between the project team and mobilisation teams to ensure timely manning is achieved in line with the program and compliance requirements
- Support Employee Value Proposition and HR strategic deliverables including promoting diversity and inclusion
- Proficient Blue-Collar Recruiter with a minimum of 5 years industry experience
- Experience using applicant tracking systems such as JobAdder - Preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter and proactive
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a national HR team
