About The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Tech Lead to join our team in Stockholm and drive the development of our cloud platform supporting battery energy storage solutions (BESS). The platform combines scalable backend services with modern web applications, enabling reliable and secure energy management. This role blends deep .NET development utilizing Azure cloud services with technical leadership, architecture design, and close collaboration with product stakeholders. You will mentor engineers, shape the product vision from a technical perspective, and ensure security, scalability, and quality in everything we deliver.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of software engineers, fostering best practices and high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with Product Manager, Product Designer, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with product vision and business goals.
• Define and oversee solution design, architecture, and technical implementations for both backend services and web applications.
• Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on architecture, scalability, performance, and cybersecurity.
• Contribute to feature discovery by providing technical insights and developing Proof of Concepts (PoCs) where needed.
• Drive the team towards a continuous delivery setup with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Oversee software release management and contribute to product documentation.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to tools, processes, and system architecture.
• Balance hands-on coding with leadership responsibilities to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Skills and Qualifications

• 9+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
• Strong, hands-on experience with .NET / C#, building and maintaining scalable backend services and REST APIs.
• Practical experience working with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud-native design, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with time-series databases and big data analysis in large-scale environments.
• Understanding of how to apply AI and machine learning techniques in data-intensive platforms (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection, optimization).
• Good understanding of infrastructure as code concepts (e.g., Terraform) and ability to collaborate with DevOps engineers.
• Experience with identity and access management solutions.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks is a plus.
• Good experience in planning integrations with external systems.
• Experience in IoT environments, with knowledge of protocols such as MQTT or Modbus, is a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills in an Agile environment, with the ability to mentor and inspire team members.
• Fluency in English.
