Our newest opportunity is for a talented Technical Consultant – Sustainability Practice to join our award-winning team based in Dublin, Ireland.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to work within our vastly expanding and award-winning waste consultancy team to spearhead the growth of our business within the Middle East and further afield.
Responsibilities:
This role supports our green building certification services in Europe. The position will require knowledge in building design and construction technologies and methodologies. This role reports to the Technical Directors and supports projects and clients in improving sustainability performance and achieving high green certification ratings. As a Sustainability Consultant, you will manage the LEED and WELL certification process across multiple projects, with opportunities to expand into broader sustainability consulting services as the practice grows.

  • Support the management and delivery of LEED, WELL, and/or HPI certifications for new and existing buildings.
  • Collaborate with design and construction teams on LEED, WELL, HPI and possibly other types of certification programs
  • Serve as the primary LEED, WELL, and/or HPI Project Manager on multiple projects.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and notes.
  • Ensure that accurate records are kept.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with building owners, design, construction, and operational teams. Understand the role of each team member in achieving targets and be able to communicate effectively.
  • Coordinate internally with our team of in-house experts to develop effective strategies on energy and carbon reduction, healthy buildings, and other disciplines in the sustainability field.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of external training programs.
  • Contribute to internal organizational excellence and strategic planning.
  • Embrace and improve our existing green and healthy workplace.
  • Foster a commitment to excellence in respect to client service and team collaboration.
  • Maintaining direct control of timelines and budgets for different projects assigned to the consultant.
  • Line management, supervision and mentoring mid-junior level staff.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 5 years' professional experience in the Built Environment and/ or Sustainability-related fields

  • 2+ years of relevant experience managing sustainability certifications.
  • Active LEED AP OR commitment to become a LEED AP, WELL AP and/or HPI Assessor within 3 months of employment start.

Postgraduate qualifications (e.g. MBA, MSc in Sustainability, or Project/Program Management) would be a strong advantage.
