Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Product Owner to join our team in Denver, CO on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background coupled with proven experience in agile product ownership. You will act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and development teams to deliver high-quality, scalable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with business and technical teams
• Translate business needs and customer feedback into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
• Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and technical enhancements based on business value and development capacity
• Work closely with developers, architects, QA, and UX teams to ensure technical feasibility and smooth delivery of features
• Serve as the voice of the customer within the scrum team, ensuring the end product meets user needs and business goals
• Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align on timelines, dependencies, and product goals
• Continuously gather data and insights to guide product decisions and drive iterative improvements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus
• 8+ years of experience in a Product Owner or similar technical role
• Solid understanding of modern software architecture, APIs, and system integrations
• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Proven ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional technology projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical details into business language
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
