Technical Project Manager (Data)

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of an Enterprise Management Information (MI) Platform initiative. This role blends strong project management capabilities with solid technical understanding in data engineering, system integration, and BI tools (Power BI).

You will work closely with IT Enablement Engineers and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data solutions, including ETL pipelines, API integrations, and dashboard enhancements that drive better business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery across scope, timeline, budget, and quality
  • Facilitate technical discussions, stakeholder meetings, and testing cycles
  • Track risks, issues, dependencies, and action items to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain key project artefacts (status reports, RAID logs, documentation)
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and steering committees

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Applications, Security, Operations, and PMO teams
  • Engage business users and KRI data owners to refine and align requirements
  • Ensure seamless communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders

Technical & Data Collaboration

  • Partner with engineers to design and implement ETL pipelines and system integrations
  • Understand data flows, KRI metrics, and source systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Tenable, SharePoint)
  • Identify opportunities to automate data extraction and improve data quality processes
  • Support enhancements to Power BI dashboards for improved reporting and insights

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, security standards, and governance frameworks
  • Support audit readiness and compliance documentation requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management (data or technology-focused projects preferred)
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile / Waterfall)
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Good understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL, data modelling, data validation)
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and system integration concepts
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, EC2) is a plus
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Shell, or PowerShell) is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $6,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
