- Full Time

Please note - this is an in-house role in our Stockholm office. Remote candidates will not be considered.
Are you a technically educated project manager with a drive to succeed who is also highly organized? We’re looking for you!
Hacksaw Studios is hiring a technical project manager to handle ongoing live maintenance for our games, manage release cycles, handle new feature implementation projects for live game titles, and prioritize the day-to-day maintenance work.
You would be working hand-in-hand with our development teams, product team, quality assurance team, and the existing project management team to ensure that resources are balanced fairly and efficiently.
The daily tasks include managing issues for task allocation and interfacing with the development team on those issues, handling the update and release of new game versions including QA testing review and feedback, keeping track of ongoing feature projects and managing the deployment of such projects from development to production, and providing frequent and detailed updates to the product and operations teams.
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of technical education or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of project management experience in a technical field, preferably within game development or a similar SaaS product area. This should include experience in working with product releases from initial planning to final release
- Experience with project management tools and issue tracking systems such as Jira, Trello, or similar. We work with the project management tools embedded in GitLab, so experience with this particular platform gives extra merit.
- Experience with and understanding of software testing practices and methodologies
- Highly organized and proactive in your work, making sure to always stay on top of what is happening with the different projects and game update cycles you will manage. Weekly reports on progress and status will be expected.
Equally important to your qualifications and experience is you as a person! At Hacksaw Studios we place a premium on our office culture and making sure each person is a good fit for the team. We are a fairly young company with a very open and relaxed atmosphere, placing a premium on cooperation, engagement and transparency. We welcome anyone who is enthusiastic about games and product, and wants to deliver excellence as part of a team.
If you feel that this description suits you, we’d love to receive your application!
