Telecom Project Coordinator

This is a full-time contractor (1099 basis) position located in the Reston, VA area that will be on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five (five) or more years’ experience supporting telecom customer service deliveries to include telecommunications circuits and network implementations.

Candidate must be a US Citizen with an Secret Security Clearance OR have a suitable background for obtaining a Security Clearance.

Mandatory Qualifications: Candidate must have:

· Strong experience providing customer focus and Telecom Service Delivery support

· Experience to process, coordinate, and follow up on service delivery activity for circuits

· Ability to coordinate site activations and take detailed notes for customer records

· Use Remedy/Helix to track and document the service delivery process.

· Minimum of intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite – MS Project, Excel, etc.

· Strong financial forecasting, budgeting, and resource management capabilities

· Ability to understand customer deliverables and translate those into deadlines

· Ability to be well organized and to simultaneously manage multiple activities

· Ability to provide status updates to management and customers as required

· Define project scope, goals, and deliverables by collaborating with the Team

· Ability to coordinate and schedule team activities such as site surveys, circuit orders, etc.

· Strong technical skills and the ability to communicate concepts to non-technical clients

Desired Qualifications

· Associate or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or a related field

· PMP certification

· 5 years’ experience

· Experience supporting Government public sector programs is preferred

· Telecommunications and/or wireless network experience preferred

· Knowledge of project management processes and telecom network architecture

· Experience in network architecture design concepts and implementation processes

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $31.00 - $40.00 per hour
