Telecommunications Equipment Operator

Position Overview:
The Equipment Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of small and heavy construction equipment on underground utility and civil projects. This role requires strong awareness around live utilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in residential and commercial environments.

Responsibilities:

• Operate various types of small and heavy construction equipment
• Perform trenching, backfilling, grading, and site preparation
• Work safely around live utilities and follow locates accurately
• Load trucks and manage materials efficiently
• Maintain clean, organized job sites
• Complete daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
• Work closely with crew members to meet daily production targets
• Follow all company health and safety policies

Requirements:

• 4+ years experience operating construction equipment in the telecommunications industry
• Ability to work around live utilities safely
• Experience in civil construction or underground utilities
• Strong understanding of trenching and grading
• Valid G Driver’s License (AZ is an asset)
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
