Tenant Account Administrator

Overview
We are seeking a Tenant Account Administrator dedicated to improving and building trusting relationship with Indigenous tenants. The Duties consist of overseeing financial accounts of all tenants. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and understanding of issues faced by indigenous people in fining safe and affordable housing, along with a comprehensive understanding of property management practices. This role requires excellent phone etiquette, data entry capabilities, and proficiency in property management software such as Yardi and Excel. As a the Tenant Account Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring tenant satisfaction while maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of the tenants you serve.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing financial inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely manner.
  • Oversee lease agreements, renewals, and evictions.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and rents using Yardi or similar software..
  • Implement arrears strategies manage account balances.

Requirements

  • Understanding of challenges faced by indigenous people in relation to housing.
  • Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping.
  • Excellent phone etiquette with strong communication skills to effectively interact with tenants and vendors.
  • Ability to communicate effectively while maintaining positive tenant relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tenant files simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution within the property management context.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00-$77,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Indigenous Organization: 1 year (preferred)
  • property management: 1 year (preferred)
