JOB SUMMARY
The Territory Sales Representative, located in Regina, SK will support and grow sales within a designated geographic territory by building strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service, and promoting our range of electrical products and solutions. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, achieving sales targets, and driving customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales and Business Development
- Collaborate in developing sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Identify, prospect, and establish relationships with new clients while maintaining existing accounts.
- Promote electrical products and solutions to contractors, distributors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions tailored to client needs.
2. Territory Management
- Regularly visit clients and job sites to maintain a strong presence and address customer needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline management, and customer interactions in the company’s CRM system.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering solutions aligned with client business goals and project needs.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and integration of solutions.
4. Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to achieve business objectives.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
5. Compliance and Ethics
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
- Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements within the territory.
Education and Experience
2+ years of proven success in sales, preferably in the electrical, lighting, or construction industry.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical products and industry trends is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Organization: Strong time management and organizational skills for handling multiple accounts and priorities.
- Technology: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
REQUIREMENTS
- Access to a reliable vehicle.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
