Third Party Construction Management firm is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to manage multifamily projects, including both ground-up developments and renovation/repositioning initiatives. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in both development and construction management, capable of managing large-scale projects exceeding $50 million.
Key Responsibilities
- Touch all phases of multifamily development and construction projects, from pre-development through project closeout
- Manage budgets, schedules, and overall project performance to ensure successful delivery
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and ownership teams
- Oversee due diligence, entitlement processes, and design development
- Monitor construction progress, quality control, and cost management
- Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining timelines and financial targets
- Provide regular reporting to stakeholders and senior leadership
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience managing large-scale construction projects ($50M+)
- Proven experience in both multifamily development and construction management
- Strong understanding of ground-up construction
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Engineering, or related field preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience working across multiple Southeastern U.S. markets
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and pro forma analysis
- Established relationships with contractors, consultants, and industry professionals
