Tile Setting Apprentice

Overview
We are seeking apprentices eager to learn a skilled trade they can use for the rest of their lives. Tile and construction work is consistently in demand, offering long-term stability and growth for those willing to put in the effort. This role is physically demanding, repetitive, and requires daily use of power tools, making it best suited for individuals comfortable in a hands-on, labor-intensive environment.

No experience - We hire for work ethic and attitude. Skills can be taught.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut tile using grinders, wet saws, and other equipment
• Mix mortars and prepare materials for installers
• Apply cementitious grout
• Transport materials, tools, and supplies across job sites
• Load and move tile (including carrying materials up multiple floors)
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Perform site preparation (scraping, sweeping, washing slabs/walls)
• Handle trash collection and disposal

Requirements

• Willingness to perform physical, hands-on work daily
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
• Comfortable using or learning power tools
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Ability to arrive on time for early start schedules

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
