Toddler Or Preschool Teacher

Emerging Academy is looking for a committed Experienced Teacher to complement our qualified workforce of educators. The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to children and create a relationship of mutual trust. Candidate will know how to organize a classroom and make learning an easy and meaningful process. The goal is to help cultivate the children’s’ interest in education and be their dedicated ally in the entire process of learning and development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
• Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
• Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings
• Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
• Observe and understand students’ behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc.
• Caring for children such as: bottle feeding, spoon feeding, diapering, toilet training
• Highly engage with children in the classroom and on the playground
• Ability to lift children 10-40lbs

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a teacher in Early Education
• Attends all mandatory staff meeting and center events

• Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills
• Creative, energetic and passionate
• Strong moral values and discipline

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
