Tool And Die Maker

Olympus Aerospace Tool & Die Division (Trucast, Inc.) specializes in the design and manufacturing of ceramic core dies and wax pattern dies, as well as gages and fixtures for the investment casting and medical implant industries.

A toolmaker is responsible for the manufacturing of these tools.

• Read, comprehend, and follow instructions per Customer’s QEI and/or Tool Build Parameters.
• Skills needed: blueprint reading, shop knowledge and interpretation of work instructions.
• Manufacture pieces for assemblies or complete assemblies.
• Self-inspection of product and processing to ensure assembly fit.
• Effectively use Bridgeport machine, CNC equipment, EDM (Ram and Wire) equipment, Grinding equipment.
• Need basic understanding of benching and polishing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
