We are currently looking to recruit Tour Guides to join our Dublin Team. Full training is provided to all successful candidates.
The Role
The role and function of a tour guide is to welcome, inform and entertain passengers. This rewarding work allows great opportunities to meet a wide range of people, to travel and manage your own working environment.
Guides are expected to have a full working knowledge of and to keep up to date with:
- Core knowledge - involving a wide cultural background of Ireland
- Dublin knowledge - an in-depth local knowledge
- Regional knowledge - covering sites frequently visited from Dublin
- Business skills – involving a willingness to promote and cross sell other related sightseeing tours or combinations where applicable
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
Previous experience is desirable, but not essential, as full training can be provided.
If you enjoy meeting n ew people and engaging with people, this is a role you will enjoy.
Guides also receive tips from customers, this is separate to wages, and not managed or monitored by the business.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: €110.00 per day
Expected hours: 24 per week
