We have recently expanded our operation to include walking tours in Waterford.

Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Freelance Tour Guides to lead visitors through Waterford’s historic and cultural attractions, providing them with engaging and informative experiences for our premium walking tours. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the city's history, culture, and landmarks. As a Tour Guide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable and memorable visit.

Duties:

• Conduct guided tours for individuals and groups, sharing interesting facts and stories about the sites visited.
• Engage with guests by answering questions and providing insights into the history and significance of various locations.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during tours.
• Collaborate with the Admin Team to ensure smooth operation of the tour and the overall visitor experience.
• Gather feedback from guests to improve future tours and services.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Strong organisational skills to manage tour logistics effectively.
• Previous experience as a freelance tour guide.
• A passion for history, culture, or nature relevant to the tour content.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Fluency in English is required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
