About the Role

The Transport Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Health NZ Taranaki Transport Fleet, which includes 100+ assets. This role involves managing their deployment across the organization, ensuring their maintenance and licensing, and supervising the staff in the transport unit. Additionally, the coordinator works closely with key suppliers and service agents. This position has three direct reports.

About you

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Transport Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Health NZ Taranaki Transport Fleet, which includes 100+ assets. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in managing fleet deployment, maintenance, and licensing. You will be responsible for supervising a dedicated team and working closely with key suppliers and service agents to ensure the smooth running of the transport unit. With three direct reports, you will play a vital role in maintaining efficiency and safety standards, ensuring all transport-related tasks are carried out effectively across the organisation.
