Tree Cutter - Arborist

Position Summary

The Tree Cutter/Operations Arborist is an exciting role that requires both physical and mental prowess. This position can be a stepping stone role into a operations forman position where you would be expected to manage and operate your own crew safely and efficeintly. At Hugo Tree we specialize in dangerous and difficult removals. We take pride in our thorough job performance and client satisfaction. As the Operations Arborist your job will challenge you daily to problem solve and develop a plan in order to get projects done safely and with the highest quality standard in the Twin Cities. You would have access to updated equipment, regular training to improve and maintain skills, and access to industry shows including TCIA Expo, Shade Tree Short Course, and Arbor Expo

Requirements

- Must be knowledgeable in bucket and lift operations.

- Must have a strong understanding and ability to utilize riggin techniques specific to tree removal and trimming operations.

- Must have a minium of a class B commercial drivers license.

- Certified Arborist, CTSP, Certified line clearance, and/or certified Tree Worker (preffered but not required.)

- Strong communication skills.

- Climbing Skills (Preffered but not required)

- Work well in a team based environment.

- Self-starter.

- Familiarity with ANSI Z133 safety standards.

- A desire for advancement.

- Must be collaborative with teammates.

- Maintain daily maintenance logs for equipment.

Hugo Tree is a growing family-owned difficult and technical tree removal company. We work year round with typical weeks consisting of 40-55 hours per week. We also provide trimming and chemical treatment services to our clients.

Hugo Tree is a drug free workplace and tobacco free work sites/trucks with random testing

Pay is dependent on experience/qualifications $33-45/hr

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 55 per week
