Welcome to our LATAM Technical Service team for Bioenergy

You will become part of our Bioenergy Technical Service team, collaborating closely with our colleagues in Technical Services to provide world class technical support and innovative solutions to our team and customers in Bioenergy space.

As Lab technician you’ll make an impact by:

  • Execute lab work in accordance with guidelines from Technical Service team

  • Help senior staff to carry out experimental work involving established methods to meet specific team/project goals

  • Ensure the laboratory and equipment are operated according to the recommended procedures and safety protocols

  • Responsible to identify, evaluate, develop, and standardize various analytical methods along with data validation and documentation of the method as per QMS standards

  • Ensure that the ingredients, chemicals, laboratory consumables and enzyme samples are used according to the identified procedures

  • Anticipates laboratory needs and helps to address these in a timely manner

  • Preparation of testing material, testing chemicals and reagents according to the prescribed procedures

To succeed you must hold:

  • Scientific skills based on a university degree in Chemistry, Chemical / Biotech / Bioprocess Engineering or related.

  • Experience within enzyme and yeast applications in Bioenergy would be a plus

  • General knowledge in instrumentation, including method development, sample analysis and data interpretation

  • Background in analytical chemistry and/or biochemistry

  • Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Collaborative and a good team player.

  • Organizational and computer skills are required, including general use of Microsoft Office suite

This job will be located in Araucária city, PR – Brazil.
