Unarmed Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding security protocols. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing assistance as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.
• Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals in distress.
• Document incidents, accidents, and any unusual activities in detailed reports.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or emergencies.
• Manage conflicts effectively, employing conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate situations.

Experience

• Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
• Training in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Military experience may be considered a plus.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
